Cards and Wallets

KleePay separates wallet balance from card spending power so agents can reason about available funds without receiving unrestricted payment credentials.

Wallet

The wallet is the user's funding source. It tracks available balance, held balance, card allocations, deposits, recalls, and agent budgets.

In the current frontdesk, dashboard home is the wallet surface. It shows total assets as an approximate USD-equivalent value and reconciles Balance plus On cards.

Agent-facing wallet tools:

  • kleepay_wallet_balance
  • kleepay_wallet_history
  • kleepay_deposit_address
  • kleepay_wallet_allocate
  • kleepay_recall

Card

A card is the payment instrument used with merchants. Agents can inspect safe card metadata and request card actions, but they do not receive PAN or CVV.

Agent-facing card tools:

  • kleepay_list_cards
  • kleepay_card_transactions
  • kleepay_create_card
  • kleepay_bind_card
  • kleepay_list_merchant_cards

Allocation model

Funds can be allocated from the wallet to a card and recalled back to the wallet. This keeps card spending power bounded before any merchant authorization is created.

Activity and statement

Card and wallet movement appears in Activity, the real-time all-status feed. When you need a formal, settled-only record for reconciliation, export a statement (PDF) from the Activity page. Use Activity for live payment diagnosis and the statement export for settled accounting.
